In 1957, the late W.B. Fox and Mary V. Fox opened the doors of the W. B. Fox Garage, which later became Fox Auto Service. Forty-five years later, and with another generation at the helm, the business is still going strong.
Harrell Fox came into the family business as an automotive technician in 1967. He and his father worked building the business together until W.B.'s death in 1979. In 1997, Harrell's youngest son Lee joined the family business as an ASE Certified Technician. In October 2001 Lee moved into the front office as the Service Manager. In November 2000, Lee's wife Tina joined the family business as Service Consultant and Office Manager.
All Technicians are ASE Certified and have been our employees for a lengthy time. Bill Murphy and Steve Shropshire have been with us since 1984, Lupe Solis joined us in 1998, left briefly and then came back in September 2001, and Mike Figley came to us in 1997. In June of 2000 we employed a full time customer/parts runner. Our technicians are continuously updating their skills and knowledge by attending workshops, seminars, and ASE Testing.
Mr. Fox attributes our success to our loyal repeat customers. We provide excellent and dependable service from loyal, reliable technicians.

On October 9, 2002, we were honored by the Better Business Bureau, with the annual OUTSTANDING BUSINESS AWARD FOR 2002. SPECIAL THANKS to our loyal customers and employees. The BBB of San Angelo, Texas honors one business per year for a job well done. The nominees are submitted by consumers, with criteria guidelines that each business must meet and maintain. These include maintaining a relationship of professionalism and integrity with consumers, never taking advantage of consumers, and treating all consumers fairly and professionally. We are extremely honored to have received this award and strive continuously to improve consumer relations. |
